Strategies Overview

Strategies are visual flow-based automations that execute actions for your leads. Build workflows using a drag-and-drop editor to automate outreach, follow-ups, and lead management.

What is a Strategy?

A strategy is an automated workflow that triggers based on specific events and executes a series of actions. Each strategy consists of:

  • Trigger — The event that starts the workflow
  • Actions — The steps executed after the trigger (send SMS, make a call, wait, etc.)
  • Agent — The AI agent that handles conversations within the strategy

Creating a Strategy

Step 1: Choose a Trigger Type

When creating a new strategy, select the type of trigger that will start your workflow.

Choose trigger type

Available trigger types:

TriggerUse Case
WebhookSpeed to lead — instantly reach leads from external systems
CampaignDB reactivation — process lists of existing leads
PipelineStage-based automation — trigger when leads move stages
FormLead capture — trigger on form submission

Step 2: Associate an Agent

Select an agent from the dropdown at the top of the strategy editor. The agent determines how the AI handles conversations during the strategy execution.

Select agent dropdown

Every strategy requires an agent. The agent’s prompt, objective, and tools will be used during channel actions (SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, etc.).

Action Nodes

After your trigger, connect action nodes to define what happens:

ActionDescription
ChannelSend a message via SMS, WhatsApp, Email, or Voice
WaitPause execution for a specified duration
ConditionBranch the flow based on conditions
API RequestMake an HTTP request to external services
Pipeline UpdateMove the lead to a different pipeline stage
Objective CheckCheck if the agent’s objective has been met
