Channels Overview

Channels are how your agents communicate with leads — voice calls, text messages, emails, and social messaging. Connect your accounts once, then use them across all your agents.

Step 1: Connect your channel

First, authenticate your channel account in the dashboard.

Open Channel Auth →

This connects your account credentials (OAuth, API keys, etc.) to BookedIn. Each channel type has its own authentication flow.

Step 2: Configure channel in agent

Once connected, create and configure the channel within your agent’s Channels tab.

Configure channel in agent Channels tab

Here you can:

  • Create new channel instances for this agent
  • Configure channel-specific settings (phone numbers, sender IDs, etc.)
  • Set inbound/outbound preferences

Step 3: Associate channel to agent

Finally, link the configured channel to your agent in the Connection tab.

Associate channel in Connection tab

This step enables the agent to actually use the channel for communication. You can associate multiple channels to a single agent.
