Marketplace
Use apps from the BookedIn marketplace with your voice channel by creating an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.
Overview
Marketplace apps extend your agent’s capabilities by connecting to external services like CRMs, calendars, and other business tools.
How It Works
- Connect the app — Click Install and complete the authentication process
- Select actions — Choose which actions your agent can perform
- Create an MCP server — BookedIn generates an MCP server for the authenticated app
- MCP voice tool created — The tool becomes available for your agent to use during voice calls
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Install the App
Navigate to the Marketplace in your dashboard and click Install on the app you want to connect.

Step 2: Complete Authentication
Complete the authentication process for the app. This may be:
- API Key — Enter your API key from the external service
- OAuth — Authorize BookedIn to access your account
- Custom Auth — Follow the app-specific authentication method
Step 3: Select Actions
After authentication, select the actions you want the agent to perform with this tool.

Step 4: Create MCP Server
For voice channels, create an MCP server to enable the tool during calls. Go to your agent’s Tools tab and select the authenticated app from the MCP dropdown.

Step 5: Associate Tool with Agent
Go to your agent’s Tools tab and select the MCP tool to associate it with the agent.

Supported Marketplace Apps
Marketplace apps that support voice channel integration include:
- CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Calendar apps (Google Calendar, Outlook)
- Scheduling tools
- Custom integrations
The agent will automatically have access to the tool’s capabilities during calls. For example, a calendar tool lets the agent check availability and book appointments in real-time.
Not all marketplace apps support voice channel integration. Check the app’s documentation for compatibility.
